I am an artist and shoot producer, originally from a small northern village and now based in London.
I have always had a fascination with painting & photography and creating my own work. As a teenager I used to obsessively collect magazines and was fascinated by the artistic inspiration behind the photo shoots I saw in them. I loved researching the contributors and finding out about how the work had been produced.
In my work as a shoot producer I have a real passion in being a curator, bringing a team together to realise a creative project and managing production from end to end with a considered approach, and am passionate about discovering new talent.
When I paint I take inspiration from elements and natural forms, I’m inspired by the colours of cold northern beaches in the winter and seeking simplicity of shapes in the architectural & natural environment, merging these both to create unique designs.
Colours feel like such an important key part of my work, and sitting down and taking the time to mix up the exact right colour palette feels almost as important as the painting itself.
